As a company we are extremely familiar with the demands of new and re-roofing works, with extensive experience completing large contracts within the North West region for new build housing and commercial properties.

With decades of experience, our services include expert roof slating—using natural, artificial, and reclaimed materials such as Welsh, Burlington, and Westmoreland slate—as well as comprehensive tiling with trusted brands like Redland, Russell, Sandtoft, Crest, Northstone, Quinn and Marley. Pears did an excellent job on completely re-roofing my house. Good communication from Pears prior to and during the job was very reassuring. They carried out the work in January 2019 because we were concerned about leaks from the old roof. The weather was mainly fine apart from occasional showers and one day of freezing rain and snow. Even on that day they still carried on working through it to complete the section. Despite the weather there were no leaks to the interior of the house during the work and the job was left watertight every evening when they finished for the day. The site was managed safely, they tidied up each night and all rubbish was removed during and at the end of the work. The roofers were quick and efficient and they brought in extra help on days when it was needed to keep to the programme. Inconvenience to my family and noise arising from the work was kept to a minimum. The overall roof finish is excellent, the workmanship being of top quality, and the price was fair. Pears is a very professional firm and they used subcontracted scaffolders who were of equal quality, the scaffolding being removed within a few days of finishing. I have no hesitation in recommending them. The new roof has not developed any faults since completion.
